That is what most of the rappers I hear nowadays sound like to me, just a bunch of repeated punchlines, words, and false bravado (and/or intelligence) to give the illusion that:

Point A) they are intelligent enough to think of something as simple as “morning news you niggas son/Ron Burgundy”

Point B) they can actually rap and give a shit about rapping for something other that just getting rich off of that shit. If you rap just for that reason, you’re fucked more than a hooker on Christmas day. If you just want money out that shit, you’re better off never opening your damn mouth, because people will get tired of that shit (all that “I’m rich, I got hoes and clothes, drinks on me, pip pip Cheerio” bullshit), which leads me to…

Point C) they’ve got money and they’re (excuse me for this descent into random coonery) BALLLLINNN!!!…when in reality, they’re (barely) living off of allowances that mommy wires them. Like I stated, if you’re on that fake wannabe balla/gangsta bullshit when you live a sheltered life where everything is handed to you, someone will find out and they will murder you on wax and destroy your whole career (or the thought that you had one)

Also, I noticed that everyone’s trying to be like Biggie. Biggie was a legend, and no snot-nosed young’un is gonna come into the game and just erase that fact or come close to being anything remotely similar to BIG. Find your own niche, homeboy. Or just, you know…don’t ever open your mouth and try to become a rapper when you know gotdamn well you fall under the aforementioned categories.
